Little Bill

3 10 2008

Being a big fan of The Colbert Report since its inception, I’ve started to watch “The O’Reilly Factor” only because of the constant jabs that Stephen Colbert takes at Bill O’Reilly. I don’t agree with much of anything Bill has to say, and I would classify his show as a comedy of its own, rather than an informative source of news (because everything that Fox News puts out there makes me laugh). That all being said, I came across this video of Bill O’Reilly as a kid. No, it’s not really his child-self, but it’s a funny retrospect of what Bill O’Reilly might have been like if he hosted “The Factor” as a kid. Enjoy!

So that’s why Hurricanes keep on coming!

Chocolate Rain? Have Some Berries!

5 09 2008

Tay Zonday has got nothing on Richie Rich, The Kangol Kid and Mixmaster Ice. Say who? Say what? That’s right, I said it. Forget Chocolate Rain! Like it was stated over at MetsBlog, I too was upset with myself for not knowing that this song was in existence. Ignore the random images in the video and keep your ears tuned to the 1987 smash hit, known as “Chocolate Strawberry”.

He took 3rd base while you wasn’t lookin’ (God bless grammar!)

Put Down The Duckie!

[ Thanks to “What Would Keith Do” for this video ]

I always love finding videos that take me back to my childhood, but finding this video brought together two things I loved when I was growing up: Sesame Street and the New York Mets!

You’d better listen to the ‘stache!

Phuck!

15 07 2008

I haven’t watched the All-Star Game (let alone the Home Run Derby) since Bid Selig called one of them back in 2002, but this video is priceless. Chase Utley was being announced as a contestant in last night’s Home Run Derby at Yankee Stadium. As he was making his way out, the fans at the ballpark started to ‘Boo’ him. Watch Utley’s response to the crowd at the ‘Cathedral’.

In case you had trouble hearing, that was “Boo? Fuck You”

Now, fan feelings aside (because I’m a Mets fan who is clearly against the Phillies if you read my old Mets posts), I don’t disagree with Chase’s reaction at all. His choice of words could have been more “National TV” friendly, but I think his reaction is correct. This wasn’t a Phillies/Mets game. This was the 2008 Home Run Derby at one of MLB’s most historic fields. This was a showcase of some of the game’s best players. These guys work their tails off just to make it to the Major League level, let alone the All-Star game. This should be a time to throw down your team’s colors and come together to watch some of the best players in the game. Be proud of who is representing your team, but acknowledge the talent of the other players there as well.

If there’s anything that might be guaranteed to happen after that little boo-fest, it’s that the Philadelphia sports writers and bloggers are going to be all over this like crazy glue… and they’re not exactly going to defend New Yorkers.

Heads up, Jesus!

Fill ‘er up!

Picture this: You’ve been drinking at a killer block party, but there’s one problem. There’s isn’t a single bathroom in sight! What in the world are you going to do? You can’t just go in someone’s yard. You can’t go on someone’s front steps. What’s a drunk lush to do?

Wait.. I know!

Don’t drive that car!

Nintendo Sicks Tea Phoar!

17 04 2008

When I was a little kid, I really looked forward to Christmas (My dad isn’t Jewish, so we celebrated it). Why did I look forward to it so much? You probably guess it right, the presents. They weren’t just any presents. I always got video games, and I’ve been a gamer since my first Nintendo Entertainment System when I was 4. I was always excited to get more games and consoles as the years went by, but I don’t think I was ever as excited as the kid in these two videos. The first clip is the home footage (with a little tweaking) of a little boy’s christmas, opening up a present with a kickass new gaming console under the gift wrap. The second, is a nifty little remix of the boy’s excitement. Take a look!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

And now, the remix!

OMG! SIX TEA PHOAR!
