Relationship Therapy

I’m not a relationship therapist, but I think Tricia is mad…

Let Me Sleep On It!

10 04 2008

Here’s another video (only the 2nd or 3rd) that I stole from my sister’s blog. AT&T went out and hired Rock Legend, Meatloaf,  and Former Pop Star, Tiffany. What did they hire them for? For a super awesome cover of Meatloaf’s “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” to promote a AT&T’s ‘Go Phone’. I’m not always for the cheesy celebrity commercials, but this one was just plain awesome. Enjoy!

Anyone for Tiff-Loaf?

Spitzer Gone Wild

19 03 2008

Just when you think the drama was over, it’s was only the beginning. I was browsing around CNN.com this morning to find out that just two days after Elliot Spitzer’s resignation as Governor of New York, another media frenzy broke loose over the internet when it was learned that Client 9’s girl might have been involved in the “Girls Gone Wild” videos when she was 18, or at least one man says she was 18. Joe Francis, the company’s founder, had recently reached out to Ashley Alexandra Dupre about appearing in a non-nude spread for his company’s magazine, and to join the “Girls Gone Wild” tour bus. He was ready to pay her a whopping $1 Million. But hold that phone! Someone in the company found her footage from old videos, and they featured a sample of the footage on the website’s homepage! I guess Joe made out like a bandit with this one.

But wait, there’s more! Joe claims she was 18 when the footage was shot, but her attorney claims she was 17 at the time, which would be against the “Girls Gone Wild” policy, and could result in more trouble for Francis.

I wonder when “You, Me & Dupre 2” is coming out…

Does the media frenzy ever stop? Apparently not… now there’s a video floating around of Ms. Dupre being featured as a rapper’s girlfriend in a music video for “Pop Off” by Mysterious.

Gangsta…

First in Elliot’s arms, then in Girls Gone Wild, and now in a music video? This girl is everywhere! Where will she end up next? I have no idea… But I do know this… watching videos on this blog might lower your intelligence. But who’s counting, right? Enjoy!

Chess, Anyone?

I Knew It!

Oh Sarah, you naughty girl you!

Jimmy Strikes Back!

What makes this second video hilarious (aside from the obvious running joke that Jimmy and Sarah have going) is the amount of celebrities that participated in this video. Yet another reason why I still think Jimmy was the better “Man Show” host! Go Jimmy!

Tay Zonday + YouTube = Dr. Pepper

29 11 2007

Many of you have see the video recorded for Tay Zonday’s “Chocolate Rain”. Tay now has a music video that was created to promote a new Dr. Pepper drink, that features a remixed version of that song called “Cherry Chocolate Rain”. Before you watch, are you thinking “Wow, Tay sold out!”? Personally, I think Tay is deserving of the opportunity to have a sponsored video recorded. It’s because of the YouTube phenomenon that he even has the opportunity. On the note of the video, it’s pretty cheesy, and the lyrics are obviously messed around with to promote the product. There’s even a little rap going on. It’s pretty crazy, but still great to see for Tay. Sellout or not, Enjoy!

Was that chocolate? or…

Colbert in Percentages

24 10 2007

iPod + Colbert

According to Rasmussen Reports, Stephen Colbert has earned himself double-digit percentage points as a Third-Party candidate next to candidates like Hillary Clinton, Rudy Guliani, and Fred Thompson in a telephone survey of 1,200 likely voters.

This gem of information just made my month, so here it is, for you to gander upon!

Scenario 1:
Clinton (D) – 45%
Guliani (R) – 35%
Colbert (I) – 15%

Scenario 2:
Clinton (D) – 46%
Thompson (R) – 34%
Colbert (I) – 12%

His small percentage might only be based off of the small number of 1,200, but that’s all I need to put a smile on my face. Remember, he doesn’t want to be president. He only wants to run.

Colbert 2008!

Somebody Elect This Man!

2 10 2007

Less than a week ago, I made my pitch to all of you about why I believe Stephen Colbert should slap his name onto the list of presidential candidates. Well, bloggers and readers, I’ve yet found another reason why he should do so.

Colbert owns O’Reilly

If you don’t believe me, see for yourself…

Yep, that’s a whole lot of ownage!

Kanye Owns Up

1 10 2007

Here comes yet another clip from this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live. This time, Kanye West (who was the night’s musical guest) joins in on the sketch comedy fun by owning up to his little obsession with interrupting award ceremonies to complain about how he never gets the respect he deserves. This sketch just adds another reason on the list of why Kanye West is awesome. Go Kanye!

Colbert for President (2008)

27 09 2007

I believe a president should be honest. As far as I can see, there is only 1 person in the United States who is worthy of all of those traits. Why just one? Because he’s not a politician, and we all know politicians are forbidden from honesty. This person I am speaking of is no other than, Stephen Colbert. Sure, his shtick is all for show. It’s all a big comedic charade that ends up with boosted ratings for his show “The Colbert Report” (which everyone should be watching). But if he used that shtick for the good of the nation, I would vote for him 10,000 times if I could! What was the deciding factor in realizing my support for Mr. Colbert? Remember when he was called upon to speak at the White House Correspondent Dinner? Remember when he roasted President Bush? Yeah… good times. Well, that sealed the deal for me.

But more recently, Colbert joined Jon Stewart at this year’s Prime Time Emmy Awards to give out a Reality Show award. Once again, he didn’t fail to impress, with his honest views on what reality televison really does for America… even though he was clearly devastated after losing to Barry Manilow.

Give That Man an Oval Office!

Seth Almighty

17 09 2007

I’m not one to bring shed light on a “celebrity” situation, but Chris Crocker’s rant about Britney Spears left me laughing so hard, my stomach was killing me for a few days. In case you missed it, Chris Crocker released a YouTube video a while back, and was upset at how the the tabloids and general public was talking about Britney Spears. Here’s the infamous video that he recorded.

Are you laughing yet?

Now, bring Seth Green into the picture, and you’ve got a hilarious spoof of that amazingly funny video. Could it really get that much funnier than Chris Crocker? I say yes! Seth, take it away!

I love my grandmother too!
