While the first video shows Barack Obama as the winner of the upcoming presidential election, that doesn’t mean I share that same vision of ‘hope’. As it turns out, I’ve lost all interest in this year’s Presidential Election. I’m a big fan of Ron Paul, and I hope he shows up during the final campaigns as a nominee. Wait, did I say Ron Paul? It’s too bad you can’t sense sarcasm from reading words on a screen. If you could hear me read that last sentence back to you, it would make me laugh too! But aside from all that hoopla , I’ve been completely turned off by all of the inter-party bickering between Clinton and Obama supporters. As a registered democrat, I no longer feel like I’m part of a united party, but part of a divided a party. (Sarcasm… taking over… make it stop!)

Since a good majority of readers who’ve left their comments here and on other sites haven’t been able to read into my sense of humor and assume I’m actually supporting anyone, I’ll have to get serious for a moment. If the selection for President of the United States came down to my vote, it would have to go to these guys. (Serious? Me? Did you fall for the sarcasm again? I just can’t stop!)

Spitzer Gone Wild

Just when you think the drama was over, it’s was only the beginning. I was browsing around CNN.com this morning to find out that just two days after Elliot Spitzer’s resignation as Governor of New York, another media frenzy broke loose over the internet when it was learned that Client 9’s girl might have been involved in the “Girls Gone Wild” videos when she was 18, or at least one man says she was 18. Joe Francis, the company’s founder, had recently reached out to Ashley Alexandra Dupre about appearing in a non-nude spread for his company’s magazine, and to join the “Girls Gone Wild” tour bus. He was ready to pay her a whopping $1 Million. But hold that phone! Someone in the company found her footage from old videos, and they featured a sample of the footage on the website’s homepage! I guess Joe made out like a bandit with this one.

But wait, there’s more! Joe claims she was 18 when the footage was shot, but her attorney claims she was 17 at the time, which would be against the “Girls Gone Wild” policy, and could result in more trouble for Francis.

I wonder when “You, Me & Dupre 2” is coming out…

Does the media frenzy ever stop? Apparently not… now there’s a video floating around of Ms. Dupre being featured as a rapper’s girlfriend in a music video for “Pop Off” by Mysterious.

Gangsta…

First in Elliot’s arms, then in Girls Gone Wild, and now in a music video? This girl is everywhere! Where will she end up next? I have no idea… But I do know this… watching videos on this blog might lower your intelligence. But who’s counting, right? Enjoy!

Photo Time: Calling ‘Client 9’

Bill Mitchell created yet another brilliant cartoon. This time, it’s current (and soon to be former in about half an hour) New York State Governor Elliot Spitzer. If you haven’t heard the new, he’s resigning in the midst of allegations of paying for the transportation of a prostitute to see him, and a bunch of other allegations. The cartoon that Bill draws up about the entire situation is brilliant, and I’d like to share it with all of you. Enjoy!

So, now that Spitzer is stepping down by March 17th, you’d think this is all over, right? No way! The American Media would never let that happen! It turns out, that Spitzer’s “call girl” has been identified as Ashley Alexandra Dupre. Was it completely necessary to ‘out’ the girl Spitzer was caught hiring via wiretap? No, I don’t think so. I actually feel terrible for all of the women involved in this whole ‘saga. I feel terrible for Spitzer’s daughters, wife, and entire family. I also feel bad for Ms. Dupre for all of the negative exposure she’s getting.

*sigh*… Such is the American Media. Or, just Media, in general…

Who Cut The Cheese?

Remember this year’s Super Bowl? The one where the Giants did the impossible and put a stop to the undefeated hopes and dreams of the Patriots? I do… but that’s not what I remember the most. While I am a football fan (Jets fan, but I respect what the Giants accomplished), I remember that the Super Bowl commercials were kind of bland this year. Lucky for me, I just ran across a Bud Light advertisement that was ‘apparently’ deemed inappropriate for airing during the Super Bowl. If you enjoy a bit of toilet humor, then you’ll love this commercial. Ready? Set? Laugh!

I’m a registered Democrat, but I’m not a fan of Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton… yet. Neither candidate has given me that tingly “I want him/her to be president” feeling. But one thing I appreciate, is the amount of comedic imagery that comes out of elections like these. There’s bound to be photoshop gurus out there who love to create parody images of candidates, as well as just plain creative people who love to put together a good joke. I’ve found two photos that I want to share with all of you, that I think sum up just how funny election time can be. But remember, I’m not a fan of either candidate, so posting these photos is not tied to my own opinions at all. Although, I’d love to hear what you think about them. Enjoy!
